Starting Sunday 4 March 2012, I will be organizing a swimming group for babies (age 0 to 3 years old) with one of their parent (or guardian). The pool, with a magnificent view of the Alps, is located in the hotel “Le Chalet d’Adrien” in Verbier (Savoleyres).

This group will be focusing on the well being of your baby and making him or her at ease in the water. We will not learn any specific swimming movements or force anyone to do something that he or she is not ready to do. The goal is to make your baby love the water and feel comfortable in it. Ultimately we will teach them how to react in the event they should fall in the water without direct supervision.

Each individual has a different learning process and this is true with babies and children as well. Even if we will make some group exercises, I will make sure to have an eye on every participant and give some individual tips.

If your loved one is under 6 months old or is unhealthy, please make sure to have your pediatrician’s ok before registering.  Also, big sisters or brothers will unfortunately not be able to participate, as the pool is too small.

If your child is between 2 and 3 years old, you are welcome to participate if he or she has not yet been in a pool or is afraid of water. If your child is over 3 years old, this group will not suit his or her needs of adventure. Please contact me if you have any questions.

The price is 150chf for 5 lessons (30chf the lesson) or 40chf as a drop-in. The pool entry is included for one baby and one adult. If you would like to drop-in, please email or call me before to make sure a spot available. Please note that the minimum of participants is set to 4 and the maximum to 6. The lessons are held between 9:00am - 9:20am and 9:30am - 9:50am
