Swimming has changed over the past few years. A few years ago, the main belief for faster swimming was training harder, stronger, longer, etc… Most of the athletes were nice big chunks of muscle power, fighting constantly with the water. Since a few years, this belief is slowly changing, making the efficiency of each stroke more important then the pure strength. Swimming then becomes a graceful dance and not a bad catch game anymore.
