- Nothing should move
apart from your legs and your head to
 breathe
- Keep you head in alignment of your body
at all time
- The top of your head, your arm and your
hip should break

the surface of the water

- Kick about 10 times on your side. Then
bring your arm to
your
head level. Pause for about 5 seconds. When
you feel
comfortable
rotate your whole body 180°.
- Make sure to control every part of the
movements
- Your whole body should stay as straight
as possible |

|
- Both arms along your side, rotate from
one side to the other
using
your kick and core to move
- Be sure to rotate from your lower body
and not from your
shoulders
- Speed is not important - be patient and
control your body |

- In a vertical position, start kicking.
Try keeping your head out
of
the water
- Your body should be perfectly straight.
No "<" shape!
- The kicking should come from the hips,
not the knees. Think
of
kicking a ball rather than being on a bike.
- Play around with your arms
to make it harder: hands out of
water,
elbows out, full streamline...
